Job description
1. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management:**
--Proactively prospect for new clients, especially wholesalers, importers, brand owners, and chain retailers in target markets, utilizing diverse channels including online platforms, industry trade shows, market research, email marketing, and leveraging existing personal networks.
--Deeply understand client needs and provide professional product recommendations and solutions (covering design, materials, craftsmanship, certifications, etc.).
--Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, driving repeat purchases and order growth.
--Conduct regular client visits (online/offline) and communications, promptly resolving client issues.
2. Market & Product Analysis:
--Monitor global plush toy market trends, popular elements (e.g., IPs, design styles, material preferences), competitor activities, and regulatory requirements in target markets.
--Collect and report client and market intelligence to inform product development, design improvements, and marketing strategies.
3. Sales Process Management:
--Manage the entire sales cycle from inquiry handling, quotation, negotiation, through to contract signing.
--Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and conduct price negotiations based on company policies and market conditions.
--Strictly manage order risks, particularly concerning payment terms.
4. Documentation & Communication:
--Communicate efficiently and clearly with both internal stakeholders and external clients (via email, phone, meetings).
--Regularly report on market dynamics, work plans, and sales progress.
Qualifications
1. Education:
Bachelor's degree or above. Preference for majors in International Trade, Marketing, Business English, Textiles, or related fields.
2. Experience:
--Minimum 3 years of experience as a Foreign Trade Specialist or Export Salesperson. Experience within the toys, gifts, or textile products industry is highly preferred.
--Familiarity with the full export process.
--Proven track record of independently developing clients and successfully closing orders.
3. Industry Knowledge:
--Understanding of plush toy manufacturing processes, commonly used materials, and cost structures.
--Knowledge of international toy safety standards (e.g., ASTM F963, EN71) and testing requirements.
--Awareness of plush toy design trends, the IP licensing market, or specific regional markets is advantageous.
4. Other Skills & Attributes:
--Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
--Fluency in written and spoken English for business communication.
--Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and customer relationship management (CRM) abilities.
--Excellent teamwork spirit, high attention to detail, and risk awareness.
--Proactive, resilient under pressure, highly responsible, driven, and target-oriented.
